DU BLOG 7 inch GROUP 1-6-2025
A couple of requests got me into ripping singles lately so I subsequently got through two stacks of unripped seven inch singles (leaving one more stack for a later date) over the holiday break and only showing the ones with covers as there are many more per the list I will make below. Some real gems here from Goodwill over the years like the three REM Records country folk singles, a McDonalds 7 inch series called "Menu Music Chant" having hits songs from Terri Gibbs, Donnie Iris, One Way & Rufus, new 7 inches I've used to fill-in shipping minimum order requirements, and a couple of cool spoken word songs like The Triumph of Man" from the 1964-65 New York World's Fair through Traveler's Insurance Companies as well as Les Crane's classic "Desiderata" so I added from the other week The San Sebastian Strings classic tune "My Friend The Sea" to make three. Couple of bands with different names on the A and B sides perhaps to satisfy record companies such as The Murmaids (instantly recognized their "Popsicles & Icicles" song) while on flip they are The Murmaids Band and other one is The Mama's And The Papa's and on flip "Got A Feelin'" as "Mama's And The Papas". Here are the other names: Anodyne 7 96, April Stevens with Henri Rene AHO 7 51, Bing Crosby & Frank Sinatra 7 56, Brainstorm 7 76, Canned Heat (added this to repost) 7 70, Charlie Monroe 7 REM, Culture Club 7 82, Dan Hartman 7 78, Das Tapfere Schneiderlein 7, Dead End Cruisers 7 98, Deathly Fighter 7, Diana Ross 7 70, Die Sieben Raben 7, Elephant's Memory 7 70, Esco Hankins and Jackie 7 REM, Expose 7 87, Frank Sinatra w Billy May AHO 7 61, Fredna Parker with Frank Harris Orchestra 7, Gnomes Of Zurich 7 85, Hansel & Gretel 7 (this and the other German Kids 7 inches will be the kids music post this week), Hot Monkey/Grufters/Linda Heck 7 94, Indian Bingo 7 90, Jimmy Lodgsdon 7 REM, Johnn Billy West 7 71, Jurgen Drews 7 72, Les Crane 7 71, Norman Greenbaum 7 69, O'Jays 7 72, Palace Music 7 93 96, Peter Thomas Narrator with The Hartford Symphony Orch. dir. by Fritz Miller (The Triumph Of Man-both sides as one file) 7 84 85, Rank Strangers 7 97, Rapunzel 7, Romeo Void "Say No" 7 81, Stuart Hamblen 7, Tennessee Ernie Ford 2x7 57, The 5th Dimension 7 68, The Anasazis 7 09, The Boogie Man Orchestra featuring Mel Hayes 7 75, The Departure 7 04, The Functional Blackouts 7 05, The Hondells 7 64, The Tee Set 7 69, Three Dog Night 7 69, Tyrone Davis 7 76, Tip Toe Through The Tulips 7 unknown artist and Zehn Kleine Negerlien.
