Andwellas Dream - Love And Poetry CD 69 -cc

COLLECTOR'S CHOICE:  Per Discogs:  Band from Northern Ireland who later became Andwella. They were formed in 1968, originally as The Method, but changed their name to Andwellas Dream (sometimes spelled Andwella's Dream) after moving to London in 1968. Their debut album Love And Poetry (on CBS) was a highly-rated psychedelic album. The highlight of this album is surely the opening track The Days Grew Longer For Love, which like most tracks is slow and melodic but with 'killer' guitar leads. Three singles were released from that album. After the first LP the line-up was changed and the new incarnation shortened its name. Both incarnations of the band were centered around David Lewis, who was a multi-instrumentalist and an acclaimed songwriter. He also recorded a privately-pressed album in 1970 and made further solo albums.

David Lewis - guitar, piano, organ, vocals

Nigel Smith - bass, vocals

Gordon Barton - drums.

STARJETS - God Bless Starjets CD 79

I will say you followers of the DU blog have really been helping me lately like Jon mentioned this band and I could have sworn that I owned the vinyl in the early days but may have dumped the rip if the vinyl was too beat up (hence more cuts I had to make) once I found the CD rip from another blog.  Per Discogs:  Punk pop / new wave band

They were formed in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1976 by guitarist - lead vocalist Terry Sharpe, guitarist Paul Bowen, bassist Sean Martin and drummer Liam L'Estrange. They were signed at Epic by Muff Winwood where they released one album in 1979 and a bunch of singles with "War Stories" being their biggest hit (No.51 in the U.K. charts in 1979). They supported Bay City Rollers and Stiff Little Fingers and because of their amiable style they were labelled "the Bay City Rollers of punk". After their album failed to chart, Paul Bowen left the group and they changed their name to Tango Brigade addding guitarist Pat Gribben in their line up. After one single at Epic in 1981, Tango Brigade disbanded due to musical differences and Terry Sharpe with Pat Gribben formed The Adventures in 1983 and Sean Martin (3) joined Jake Burns And The Big Wheel.

REPOST Request:  Well a timely request if in fact it was that in comments by Post Post Modern Dad as I have added 'Flags & Emblems" CD which I have always dug since getting it in 1991 but couldn't find my 'Guitar & Drum' CD 03 which was the first tour I saw them at so I added my personally filmed killer cover version of 'Johnny Was' by Bob Marley & The Wailers from the second time I saw them in Ybor City 11-5-2019 that I used to crank the volume on from my Peel Session 45 EP (one of only a handful I could do that with like Rapeman - Budd EP, 45 Grave - Partytime EP, etc.) so you all luck out!
