THE REELS - st LP 79
REPOST Request: Reposting this for someone looking for their other releases if you have please link up in the comments. From original comments from Jim H.: Fun Fact: Reels member Craig Hooper did live keyboard work for fellow Australians The Church, in-between Reels gigs, ca 1984. Oh yeah also looking for Rixboy more Dragons from New Zealand while you're at it. Per Discogs: Hailing from Dubbo in New South Wales (Australia) in the late '70s, The Reels took their new wave pogo pop into the mainstream with the release of their debut single Love Will Find A Way. A string of hits and chart albums followed over the years as the band's line-up continually changed and their sound evolved through electro, bent cabaret and country soul. A publishing snafu left founder singer-songwriter Dave Mason wanting to only cover other artists' material, ironically scoring their biggest hit with Credence Clearwater Revival's Bad Moon Rising - another act experiencing a publishing fallout. The band quietly bowed out in the early '90s as they were dabbling with house music. They reformed to tour and promote a best-of in 2008. In between, their haunting track Quasimodo's Dream had been voted by publishing association APRA as one of Australia's ten greatest compositions, and has been covered by many Australian artists since.

Just in case I have broken your protocol for Requests-Sorry! I wish a ReUp of this album, and also a special request for an additional post of "The Reels-Quasimodos Dream" which has been released on CD but the price asked is obscene!! Thanks for considering my request, from Rixboy DownUnda
