REPOST Request and ADD ON: A big thanks to Art58koen (here's his cool Thailand building colorful designs blogspot you can check out https://www.art58koen.net/single-post/houses-in-motion) for suggesting I get the 'Space Cowboy" 7 which excited me having only known what I grabbed from Grant Hart's old clerking records store Cheapo Records shop in St. Paul with my first post (which I left pictures in order then new stuff is space cowboy 7 purple picture and below). Glad Art chimed in as he mentioned a live version too which just so happened to be recorded live at the Ordway in St. Paul so glad I bought that one as it has the definitive version of "A Good Travel Agent" at over 10 minutes long. A great music history lesson on previous tune in that set with a doozy at the end about 'Bill Evans' who we have posted here. Fresh rips of the rest under Spaced Cowboy. Enjoy!!!

Thank you very much for these Ben Sidran albums.
As you mentioned he worked with Steve Miller and in fact wrote Space Cowboy!
In 1986 he recorded On The Live Side for Windham Hill which includes a version of Space Cowboy on which Steve plays as well.
However he recorded it much earlier for Blue Thumb in 1973, a single 45 which never shows up on any anthologies...

Any chance you could upload that one?

Thanks for Space Cowboy and the link to my blog, much appreciated!
Having said that, I couldn't find any download link...
No link?
Art58Koen & Raeghnar's Rock both of your timing is impeccable! I took down link yesterday as I heard the "Think Twice" B-side hiccup at a cut I made. I had got a later lower cost pressing with no cover later of the 'Space Cowboy" 7 inch when I wasn't sure I was going to get the one I used with a sleeve. Thus I rerecorded using the extra 7 inch flawlessly with no cuts last night and now have it posted. I was checked the version of the A-side I had posted vs. the back up last night and found that during the start there was groove wear during the jet sounds but at same time during the comparison discovered my first rip and only rip of Space Cowboy was absolutely PERFECT so I left as is. Wanted to have a good version of it since hearing how it was slipping into obscurity per Art58Koen's first comment/request above. Enjoy y'all!! Found out my old facebook friend saw Ben around 1987 play a free show at the Lake Harriet Bandstand so this whole exercise was very timely indeed thanks to Art58Koen!1 Cheers y'all!!! Link is reUpped today!
Listening now, Space Cowboy & New Wave Bebop are great! And so many tracks yet to listen to...
