 Well it certainly is harvest day with the mess of Louie CD's and a couple vinyl from Goodwill.  Was a little miffed that the Ella album had two of the same sides and missing album one.  Oh well, the CD's more than make up for it (plus Eddie Condon banter is an absolute gem to hear live in between songs!!!) and I have just as many Ella actual vinyl yet to convert at a later date as I need to leave time to cut out all the pops on some of these old ones.  I won't go on more about Louis but I know he had a house in Los Angeles where they really took him in as royalty and for good reason. also he was considered tops in the 20’s with the “Legendary Bix Beiderbecke" per the back cover text statement on last weeks first-time Bix post so check it out and also I posted Noel Coward a few months ago---Louie's good friend per the CD text.  Also there are two Easter songs within as I kind of was late for that.
