REPOST Request:  Just going to post the vinyl rips I have done in the past but have added all the studio stuff up to 1988's synth type music as next album we switched to soft rock and that is not included.  I know the "Mood For Mallards' is the oldest post and has been reposted many times.  Check comments for other preferences and suggestions for this prolific musician.  From an old comment:  Hi-Fi's Ian Matthews (also Iain) was in Matthew's Southern Comfort and Plainsong, and has had a long solo career (he did an entire album of Jules Shear cover songs which is spectacular), and David Surkamp is the lead singer of Pavlov's Dog, a great '70s-to-now prog/pop band, kind of Kansas-meets-Roxy Music.  A weird but cool pairing.  Ian or Iain was also in the first version of Fairport Convention (I have a couple vinyl to post soon!)         https://bestfile.io/en/UW4nXJSYCemTmQr/file

I absolutely LOVE this album. It's not as good as a later one, "Stealing Home," but it's great nonetheless. Ian Matthews can do no musical wrong in my eyes!

Great album! I have a digitized version of my vinyl copy, but some of my transfers have a slight hum, so i'm d/l-ing yours. Fans of Matthews or Surkamp will definitely want this, but it has a pretty broad appeal. One correction, though...the band's name is actually HI-Fi; they also have a live mini-album that came out around the same time as "Moods for Mallards." Thanks again for a great post and a great site!

Hey a BIG THANKS Brian!
Hey are you the Brian Baker from Minor Threat, maybe I'll "Follow" you on google...j.k.
Yeah, "this isn't the first time and probably not the last" that I'll need correcting with a post as most of them now I haven't heard and just bought because it looked cool or someone at an old record show told me or in comment form here. Not sure who those dudes are in title as I did a quick search on Wiki before post and found stuff close but didn't seem to be the guy. Would love to hear more nevertheless so if anybody GOT, shove it up to cyber on zippy! No account needed and post link here in comments.

You're most welcome...and I get the Minor Threat thing all the time (I do have a connection, though; my best friend in college was in a band called High Back Chairs, with Jeff Nelson from MT). Hi-Fi's Ian Matthews (also Iain) was in Matthew's Southern Comfort and Plainsong, and has had a long solo career (he did an entire album of Jules Shear cover songs which is spectacular), and David Surkamp is the lead singer of Pavlov's Dog, a great '70s-to-now prog/pop band, kind of Kansas-meets-Roxy Music. A weird but cool pairing. Thanks again!

This file contain the most excellent album by Plainsong titled "In Search of Amelia Earhart" and Hi-Fi's "Complete Works".

https://gofile.io/d/NmhJin

Plainsong is the Water issue from 2005 that also includes radio sessions, live recordings and an unreleased second album. At 320, my rip.

Hi-Fi is at 320 but not my rip, includes the Demonstration Record EP, the Christmas single and the Moods For Mallards album you have posted.
