REPOST and [R.I.P.] Eric Carmen: The string of posts below this post were all I could gather after just hearing about Eric's death. What I wrote before: Highly regarded by collectors I know who sold me a couple of these (missing the 1973 third album but hits from it are on the 1978 album) the singer Eric Carmen really had the shouting Paul McCartney sounding vocals as answer to the Beatles at the time. Yes, I will admit I like that kind of vocal since I listened to Beatles hits at an early age as I would bring my matchbox cars to combine my collection with my older cassette-only brother who would play tapes as he worked on his drawing/drafting board while he let me take out his matchbox from the top drawer and play while he drew. This stuff sounds great on vinyl and I hope you will enjoy.
