REPOST: I am regurgitating this old post myself since the new post above by Bobby Bland had the similar blues sound and was listed as a major influence on many musicians. What I wrote before: As this Chicago blues artist transitioned to soul this album was made. It contains one of the few songs I had taped from the old 'Back In The Days Of Soul' radio show playlist called 'Blues Get Off My Shoulder'...in the same vein as artists like Screamin' Jay Hawkins, the song has almost a hugely dramatic Disney soundtrack feel to it that you must hear.
