CRAIG MACK - FUNK DA WORLD CD 94
Talk about your early infuential hiphop and this I would say took over our Mpls. scene from last week 1995-2008 when it came out early in 1984. I had heard the song on the Urban Street Vibe tape sampler I got in Vegas on a business trip and promptly bought it at my Midway area in St. Paul record store called at the time 'Urban Lights' I would get to via my bike or bus. I had seen this record store next door to the Ragstock secondhand clothing store when it started as a punk shop that the local band Husker Du would practice in the basement. Anyways Rest In Peace to an innovator that my roomie in college and I loved.
