Like I mention below, have been into the local compilations since posting the 'Gathering at the Depot' comp album a couple of weeks ago. So found this one with lots of great bands on it and it reminds me of July 4th days of long ago for some reason as my old hometown. KQRS was the first big FM rock station and back when it was called AOR for album oriented rock because in the middle of the work day they would play long album songs sometimes as long as a half side of vinyl and many more 'deep' cuts. They had 'double shot dungeon' or two for Tuesdays something like that all day long with two cuts by a band. Their morning show with Tom Bernard has and still does probably have a direct line to all the Hollywood stars and would interview on the morning show. Features: Chameleon (Yanni's synth band), Dez Dickerson, Flamin' Oh's, The Phones (T.C. threw great parties--my older sister's fave band and friend), Rocking Horse, Dare Force, Snaps, Johnny Rey and the Reaction, Nitro Brothers, Vitamin Q, Crash Street Kids and Sussman Lawrence. I refreshed all related links in their original post location but will repeat the links here below.
