Yeah listening to those first three vinyl for the first time as I finally get to ripping them this week really shows the complexity of Joe's jazz piano style.  Quite the innovator with a long career including with the Crusaders in the post right below this.  I know this will grow on me with repeat listens and can't wait to hear the new CD's.  The swing album does just that and helps you understand that category.
