VA - Sgt. Peppers 2LP 78
Well I do apologize for the delay on this repost but I had to redo with a non-faulty stylus tip. I had to cut and paste (cool function on the software I have been perfecting) a later repeated chorus part over a skip zone and it worked great on 'Strawberry Fields' (can't notice really) and slight hiccup on 'Long Winding Road' (what a great cover by Rundgren!...sounds just like 'Raul' per Ringo). My older brother the artist would always play his Beatles tapes while on his drafting/drawing board in his room next to mine and I at a very young age would go over there and play with his matchbox cars on the floor as he worked, so the Beatles songs like from the red and blue tapes and this are ingrained in my cells and it really takes me back to a very young age. My youngest sister of my seven siblings got the later boxset songs from her boyfriend and I taped those and really like some of the 'mod' tunes but really don't listen to them these days. Features the bands: The Bee Gees w Paul Nicholas, Sandy Farina, The Bee Gees, Diane Steinberg w Paul Nicolas w Donald Pleasence w Stargard, Paul Nicolas w Peter Frampton w The Bee Gees, The Bee Gees w Jay MacIntosh w John Wheeler, Paul Nicolas w Diane Steinberg, Robin Gibb (Angstytimelord's fave per the comment from before), Steve Martin and Chorus, Earth,Wind And Fire, Sandy Farina, Frankie Howard w Sandy Farina, George Burns(YES!), Alice Cooper w The Bee Gees, Aerosmith (I remember this was the MTV hit), Maurice Gibb w Peter Frampton w George Burns w The Bee Gees.

Yet another thing that I was a fan of in high school that people made fun of me for liking! I LOVED this album, and I enjoyed the movie too (even though they're both VERY cheesy). I particularly like Robin Gibb's version of "Oh! Darling." I think he did it incredibly well. And even though the movie is pretty silly (and holy crap, Peter Frampton CANNOT ACT AT ALL), it's still fun to watch!

I'm not a fan of album, but I love your description of the memories it evokes for you. A lot of the songs I love have more to do with the times, places, and people they remind me of, than the sound or lyrics of the songs themselves.
