Celtic Frost - Into The Pandemonium

Avant-Garde Metal From Switzerland

I think this marked the bands shift to a more commercial pop metal sound.Alot of fans didn't like it.I thought it was different and liked alot of songs on it,even the dreaded "Mexican Radio" cover lol.By request...

Actually it was Cold Lake that went all coke metal. This album is weird and unlike their previous stuff but still far from the turd they'd become. This is actually mt=y favorite by them.

Mark, your the fucking man! I used to have this on cassette, picked it up as an impressionable twelve year old. As my first exposure to Frost I was both confused and amazed by how off the wall it was. While I enjoy TO MEGA THERION the most this is still a really essential album.

This was such a ballsy album for the time - opening with a Wall of Voodoo cover, female background singers, Tom's awful clean singing...I think it was the sheer adventurousness of this album that helped make Cold Lake such a shitty, awful disappointment.
