COLLECTOR'S CHOICE:  Now this one is cool--especially for me being an old comic book reader with many of these characters...I even had Stan Lee's thick activity book to learn them all and of course love that song title on later release by Captain Beyond [but you need the 'best' version].  Per Discogs:  British psych/prog rock group active from 1968 to 1972/73.

When the group was formed in 1968, it was primarily a songwriting vehicle for keyboardist Iain Hines and bassist/singer Glyn Havard. Hines had played in Alex Harvey's late 50s band before becoming an integral part of the Hamburg scene in Germany, where his band, The Jets , became friendly with The Beatles - indeed Hines arranged "The Saints (When The Saints Go Marching In)" in 1961 for Tony Sheridan & The Beat Brothers (2). Also working as a freelance pop journalist, he alternated between London and Hamburg before linking up with Havard. After releasing a single in 1968, they recorded in July 1969 two tracks for a single that failed to appear. At this point Havard decamped to form Jade Warrior. Hines put together a new line-up - Steve Hart (vocals), John Etheridge (guitar), Norrie Devine (sax, flute, clarinet), Jimmy Wiley (bass) and Peter Curtain (drums) - who issued in 1972 the concept album "The Marvel World Of Icarus", with a sound more prog-oriented, before falling apart.
