VA - HOMESTEAD RECORDS leftover grab bag: New Radiant Storm King - Rival Time w Nice Strong Arm - Cloud Machine EP 89 w Phantom Tollbooth - Demo early 80's w Sorry - The Way It Is CD 86 w The Clean - Sid's Pink Wiring System CD

HOMESTEAD HEROES SERIES:  O.K. hope you will pardon the mix of artists here but this was easy so I can go back to work.  Thanks to Hawksmort  and Nathan Nothin for helping get these files!! Per Discogs for the two artists not posted elsewhere:  Sorry was a post-punk/hardcore band active in Boston from about 1982 to 1986.

They were comprised of Jon Easley (vocals), David Kleiler (guitar), Chuck Hahn (bass), and Andrew Burstein (drums). Nate Bowditch played sax for the first few months and on the first record, 'Imaginary Friend'. Roger Miller of Mission of Burma made some appearances on their studio recordings as well, playing keyboards.
Sorry were inspired to start their own band by local groups like Vitamin and Boys Life. Their sound was influenced heavily by hardcore bands like Minor Threat and Black Flag as well as arty post-punkers like Mission of Burma, Gang of Four and Wire.
and the other band:  New Radiant Storm King was an indie rock band formed in Amherst, Massachusetts in 1990.
