THE RIVINGTONS - PAPA'S SHOW STOPPERS LP 88

 For the second week in a row, I owe it all to "the DU member upstairs" none other than Luis Miguel Sousa de Jesus for suggesting this fine album for post.  Per the sticker on front:  Contains Hit Single PAPA-Oom-MOWMOW from the Movie/Video E.T. the Extraterrestrial which is on the debut song on the album "Papa's Party".  Here is some text from the back cover:  For the past 25 years the Rivingtons have been turning out great performances.  This album features some of their highlights of special events that have taken place at concerts in the last two years, places like Disneyland, Magic Mountain, 'Ballys"-Las Vegas, Sands-Las Vegas, Tropicana-Las Vegas, Bob Hope Cultural Center-Palm Desert and the Universal Ampitheatre-Los Angeles.  The Rivingtons Seem to explode while doing some of rock & rolls greatest songs, like Joe Turner's 'Wee Baby Blues," Brook Benton's 'Rainey Night In Georgia,"  Clyde McFather's 'Try Try Baby" & Sam Cooke's "Having A Party" & "Cupid".  So you are in for a real treat, from a real rock & roll singing group know as the Rivingtons whose greatest efforts are Papa's Party on this album.  So sit back & listen or get up and dance to the music of the Rivingtons.  You will love the Rivingtons at their best.   Thank you a true admirer.  Enjoy!
