New Riders Of The Purple Sage - st CD 71 02 w Powerglide CD 71 02 w Gypsy Cowboy CD 72 07 w The Adventures of Panama Red LP 73 w Brujo LP 74 w Home, Home on the Road LP 74
REPOST and ADD ON: Putting a "digital front end" onto this former vinyl only post after good friend to the DU blog Josef (Austria) mentioned the 'Gypsy Cowboy" CD and then I realized I didn't have the first two so got all three at Marios Rockestaria blog. They started in San Francisco in 1969 and here was text on my first post of bottom three shown above: The Panama Red album is considered one of their best but the live album has some great tunes like "Hello Marie Lou" that reflect how close they were with the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia played guitar on their first albums. Enjoy!
