REPOST and ADD ON: Another Brian Guy (Seattle later on) post like the other two right below as part of a three part repost for Nick From Greece. I will say I had a lot of fun listening to this band last weekend on my rides to the beach. Here is what Brian wrote before: From Sydney, NSW the Psychotic Turnbuckles. Being an old pro-wrestling fan, I have always thought this bands name is absolutely hysterical. What you get here is just good old fashion punk rock. Released in 1985 on the Vi-nil label. This release is from 1988 released on Rattlesnake Records. As I said in the last post I enjoyed pro-wrestling in the past, this little 7" has a tribute to one of my favourite wrestlers of all time, Abdullah the Butcher, real name Larry Shreeve, who I think finally retired last year. He also had a song about him done by AntiSeen called Dear Abby, but I digress. Enjoy! Link Restored 1-17-

Abdullah the butcher gets a lot of praise by punkrock bands. Have some old vinyl where Serial killers make a tribute to him. They also do a hate track to some wrestler named Invader one or something. Never been a big fan of wrestling but always enjoyed the not so serious attitude surrounding it.

Oh yes, Invader #I (José Huertas González)is probably the most hated wrestler of my generation for stabbing to death Brusier Brody (Frank Goodish) in a dressing room in Puerto Rico back in 1988. The sad thing is he got away with it. I think AntiSeen also did a cover of that song also or one like it. Yeah, I'm kind of a geek when if comes to wrestling prior to the '90's.

Oh yeah, that ep that you are talking about came with the Zine Carbon 14. it's a great ep, from a great zine.
That's one thing I miss about Tower Records going under, it's tougher to find zines anymore.
Cheers,
Brian Guy

Twilightzone posted another of their E.P.s recently. I pretty much forgot these guys since everything I had from them was on LP or 7". Thanks for posting this and reminding me.

Thank You! Always Amazing Posts ! Thank You!
Good memories of travelling to Sydney on the train from Melbourne (13 hours) for the Rock N Roll Wresting events with these guys....ring included !
Thanks! Very hard to find...
Thanks!!!! Nick, Grece.
Nick thanks for bringing us these three reposts!!! I changed my reference to you on posts this week to Nick (Greece) like with Josef and also like Josef I will search next week at work all posts and make same reference in this style so people can search in upper left box and see all after all I told Josef he is now in big three collections:Collectors Choice. Top 100 Rare (I think you found it!) and Josef (Austria) I found an old request also you made on hillbillie post comment but gave to find it again Cheers!!! V
I'm curious to know what request i made back then. If you and the other peoole like it, i'll feature one Aussie band at a time over a long period. Old & new, all very good in my opinion and there's a ton of material.
Josef
Josef, the old request was Nick the Greek whose name I changed to Nick (Greece) like you did as that was the name used by Gravensite already. Yes, very interested in Aussie posts as one researcher commented here long ago and I reposted a lot of what I had for his information preservation blog. I will say to you that TACTICS very first compilation you mentioned is near impossibel to find on youtube or independent blogs where I go to get your suggestions. think I will start with the album I mentioned and ask if anybody has a digital copy. Check out new posts this week with Bill Wilson, THANKS!
