VA - THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE LP 74 75 76
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!! This was the album I wanted to feature for the holiday earlier in the week when I posted but interesting stuff did occur like my work PC deleting the file due to moving data off my stick at the same time? Then I listened to it and was a mangled cut up mess so that was good. Thus, I tweaked some settings last night and got 'er done with redo & less than 10 cuts as software function for pop's misses the thick ones thinking they are part of the recorded material. Also, since I finally had to turn down the level for newer release below from 2020 having that boom sound to -9 dB turns out better level that helped lower surface noises in this case and still record very loud like I like. This record is in my top 10 compilations, rare and from Myrrh records which is a top label for me for variety. Doing a quick search for Myrrh in upper left I find Pat Terry, Fireworks and The 2nd Chapter Of Acts for which I have more to add. I know there are much more but those are the only ones where I mentioned 'Myrrh' so if you know good bands they have let me know and I can add to those posts (if I've done them) text for look up on DU. Also with Josef and others sending in great missed country artists, these songs and artists nail all the best I would prop up in this genre, includes: David Meece, Malcolm & Alwyn, Lilly Green, The Pat Terry Group, Randy Matthews, Honeytree (finally got them on a comp. after that preacher told me as I biked past a church parking lot having an event back in MN that is was a favorite band for him), Al Mossburg, Judy Kelly and Randy Stonehill. There! How 'bout them apples!
