LIGHT - KEYS LP 81

 Pulled this one out to match Andrae's "Light" record label.  Another fine selection and perhaps the last I can afford from the FUNKMYROCK list.  You can always pump in some coins for this blog to get the rest via paypal and my address here is the account since I can get up to $600 with no tax filing.  Per Discogs:  Light, originally known as Heirborne, took Indianapolis by storm in the early 1980’s with the release of their lone LP Keys, on their Abintra Records label. Though this was their only release, Light was a very popular live band throughout much of the 80’s and it is surprising that further recordings did not materialize. Light’s sound was comparable to Alan Parsons Project and Supertramp.

There were personnel changes, reflected in the number of band members listed. Bassist John McDowell joined Light after playing in the Wright Brothers for several years. Keyboardist Jeff Lantz went on to do session work and plays keyboards on Beach Boy Brian Wilson’s 2015 solo release No Pier Pressure.
