VA - VIACOMCMD FROM A FRIEND - SONGS YR MOTHER PROBABLY WOULDN'T LIKE

 It's 2026 and time for yet another VIACOMCMD old cassette mix rip for you all!  Probably the last from friends unless I meet up with some of these old friends from my first house neighborhood in the Minneapolis City Lakes to see if they still have my mixes I gave to them!  I do have lists somewhere of all my home mixes I would do for my little sister, brother and friends but don't hold yer breath!  My friend John made this one (he was a grade older than us, in my older sister's art class and so more tied to the hippie culture and had long blonde hair worked at the bike shop down my alley (across the alley his little sister who knew my little sister worked at the Sebastian Joe's Ice Cream parlour and then  across the street where I watched Phil Hartman on our local pay phone outside the homemade bread company while they filmed 'Jingle All The Way'.  We all rode pedal mtn bikes around Uptown sometimes seeing people like Gary Louris or Dave Pirner at Green Mill or other haunts.  Well like Joe and Fred my other two friends who made me comp tapes in this series he had to include a Meat Puppets (but not SAM like the other two he used the song 'Never To Be Found".  These are top shelf selections that really blew my mind over the vacation and here are the other bands:  Johnny Cash, Wall Of Voodoo, Lou Reed, X, Morphine, John Cale, Charlie Hunter Trio, Modern Lovers, Captain Beefheart, The The, Patti Smith, Frank Zappa, Band Of Gypsies, Bob Dylan, Spearhead, Mermen, Nomeansno and Psychic TV.  Enjoy!
