Profile:  Tommy McLain (born March 15, 1940 in Jonesville, Louisiana, USA - died July 24, 2025) was an American swamp pop musician, best known as a singer but who also plays keyboards, drums, bass guitar, fiddle, and bagpipe. In 1966, McLain recorded the song "Sweet Dreams", which hit #15 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart and #7 in Canada. His other known recordings include "Try To Find Another Man" (with Clint West). He also wrote Freddy Fender's single "If You Don't Love Me Alone (Leave Me Alone).
