 Harvest time for vinyl once again and no better time than first post of the 2026.  Most of these are from Goodwill so there were some vinyl cuts after the software pop reduction that I do manually on second listen after recording step but overall this is another excellent collection to play all at once like my Soul Asylum post last year for Normy at Cheers which I pulled out over the break and sounded excellent with excellent grouping.  The tributes and comp.'s include the following artists he or Hal David who wrote the songs skyrocketed to fame:  Lena Horne, Gabor Szabo (I learned there is a female version of the Message song within), Petula Clark, Dee Dee Warwick, Ramsey Lewis, Maureen McGovern, The Stylistics, Gene Pitney, Sandie Shaw, Jerry Butler, Dusty Springfield, The Fifth Dimension, Jack Jones, Anne Murray, Roger Williams, Della Reese, Andy Williams, Jackie DeShannon, The Shirelles, Gene Pitney, Chuck Jackson, Bobby Vinton, Timi Yuro & B.J. Thomas (perhaps next vacation megapost), I spent a hundred dollars on Discogs of Christmas bonus to buy the Tonio K demo disc from 2017 they did together which was totally worth it...also added it to the popular Tonio K post that has been reposted many times over the years as I got more of his stuff and as links expired.  Also I put the Ronnie Isley 2004 collaboration on youtube songs onto the Isley post right below.(Isleys were first rip project over 3 weeks year end vacation which then left me looking for more big to do and so then did Burt but had no idea that they had recorded together which is priceless!  Watch it on youtube by all means.  The Switched vinyl by Christopher Scott had some cuts but are high quality frequencies and the Renaissance BB Baroque was also beat up from Goodwill some but that band had a lot of vinyl that is worth exploring on Discogs and at the same time I found the Lost Horizon soundtrack in minty condition that is a real treasure in fact, going to quote two paragraphs-first one from the gatefold st LP:
