Well could have posted this last week but thought I was still waiting on their first 'Test Patterns' but had it all along like the rest from recent Discogs purchases and that one didn't have a cover when I bought it so missed it.  I think this turned out to be a fave post for me as all was new and sounded great on vinyl.  Of course the songs the Monkees used from them are quite familiar and included on the live album.  Here is Bobby Hart's write up on Discogs as he just passed away:

Real Name:  Robert Luke Harshman

Profile:  American songwriter, musician, and producer.

Born February 18, 1939 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

Died September 10, 2025 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Bobby Hart was best known as one half of the songwriting duo Boyce & Hart, who wrote and produced numerous hits for the TV band The Monkees, including "Last Train to Clarksville" and the show's iconic theme song. Beyond his influential work with The Monkees, Hart co-wrote pop hits like "I Wonder What She's Doing Tonite?" and created theme music for TV programs such as "Days of Our Lives." In the 1970s, he briefly toured with Monkees members and continued his career as a musician and producer.

And for Tommy Boyce:   Real Name:  Sidney Thomas Boyce

Profile:  Born 29.9. 1939 in Charlottesville, Virginia; Died 23.11.1994 in Nashville, Tennessee. Songwriter/singer Tommy Boyce co-wrote with Bobby Hart some of the most enduring pop hits of the '60s, including those by the Monkees. Boyce also co-wrote Fats Domino's "Be My Guest" and Curtis Lee's "Pretty Little Angel Eyes."

I know you will enjoy!
