Was a member of The Porter Wagoner Show from 1961–1967. She had a number of country singles in the Top 40 between 1963-1967, including 'Let's Go All The Way' and 'The Game Of Triangles', and was an important figure as to opening doors for other female country singers.

NORMA JEAN - Pretty Miss Norma Jean LP 65 w The Country's Favorite LP 66 w The Porter Wagoner TV Show featuring Norma Jean, Curly Harris and the Wagonmasters 63
REPOST and ADD ON: Thought I should add a female country star to go with the Statler Brothers right above. I had heard some rumbling about more country a couple weeks ago at some blog so I thought I should oblige. And on that note, I have a full box of country compilations I will start into as a new theme as well. Regarding Norma Jean, she did the original 'Why Don't You Love Me' that one of my old favorite bands the Red Hot Chili Peppers covered! Per Discogs: Real Name: Norma Jean Beasler Profile: American country music singer who was inducted into the America's Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame (2005). Born January 30, 1938 in Wellston, Oklahoma, USA.
