The TARNEY/SPENCER BAND - Three's A Crowd LP 78 w Run For Your Life LP 79

REPOST Request:  What I wrote before:  They did the song 'No Time To Lose' which I always thought was a Fleetwood Mac song.  Per Discogs:  The Tarney/Spencer Band were a UK rock band formed in 1976 with Trevor Spencer on drums and percussion and backing vocals and Alan Tarney on lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar and lead vocals. Both had worked together in bands formed in Australia and the UK, including James Taylor Move and Quartet. In 1979, the band was discontinued.

Alan Tarney And Trevor Spencer Toured With Cliff Richard, Alan Also Toured With The Shadows From 1973-77. They've Written A Bunch Of Songs For Cliff Richard, After The Tarney Spencer Band Breakup, Alan Wrote "We Don't Talk Anymore" Which Became a Hit For Cliff, That Led Him Into Production Work, His Production Credits Includes Cliff's Later Albums (Including Writing "Dreamin" "A Little in Love" and "Wired for Sound") Charlie Dore's "Pilot of the Airwaves" Leo Sayer's "More Than I Can Say" David Cassidy's Comeback Album From 1985 Titled "Romance" and a-ha's "Take On Me" Barbara Dickson Went On To Record Tarney Spencer Band's Song "It's Really You" (Which Alan Produced) I Don't Know What Happened To Trevor Spencer, There's Little About Him On The Net.

No, Alan Tarney and Trevor Spencer Lived In Australia When They Were In Bands In The 60s and Doing Studio Work For Olivia Newton-John. But The Two Fellows Are Actually British And The Tarney Spencer Band Was formed In The UK.
