VA - THE BEST OF CHESS CHECKER CADET-Doo-Wop LP 84

 I had not heard any of these bands kind of like I slipped into an alternate universe of music...of course I recognized a song or two like Happy Happy Birthday Baby and White Cliffs Of Dover but not who was singing them like I said.  But Chess must have been just the absolute "bees knees" in Doo-Wop coolness.  Includes:  SENSATIONS, MARATHONS, IDEALS, MOONGLOWS, DREAM KINGS, STUDENTS, LEE ANDREWS & THE HEARTS, REVELS, FLAMINGOS, JOHNNY & JOE, TUNE WEAVERS, PASTELS, RAYS and THE BLUE JAYS.
