VA - VIACOMCMD FROM A FRIEND - SCIENCETIME tape 91

 Found a handful of old compilation cassettes made by my good friends.  This one from my buddy Fred, who I didn't know well in high school, but since he was good friends with another school chum who lived across from my first house during college.  Just in time before he left for the Air Force and this tape is a later assignment in the Phillipines where he met a wife with one kid and had the twins on the cover--Ethan & Paul (custom with his doodles related to our adventures.  I wanted to have this main post because of how well he covers the bands some of which I turned him onto.  Here is a complete list from a screenshot:

I didn't have details on the live selections about when and where they were recorded so if anyone knows please do tell.  He wanted me to hear the fIREHOSE live tape he had got from who knows where on side 2 at the start.  Of course he had to throw in our faves like Butthole Surfers (remember that live song I put on one of my VIACOMCMD comp.'s starting with a good description for our type of music at the time, Gibby voice starts with 'Wiggedity Wiggedity") and Roky Erickson.  Other artist songs from his CD collection:  Wire, The Jam, Joe Jackson, Elvis Costello, They Might Be Giants (forgot this artist label I see now), Ministry, Soundgarden, Janes Addiction, Big Black, The Black Crowes, Primus, Meat Puppets (good to hear Sam again!) and Dread Zeppelin.
