An excellent compilation on colored vinyl that had some hit songs (Fat Albert by Dig, Scooby-Doo by Matthew Sweet) on our Edge radio at the time with a few songs but all are good. Gen Xers like me know and watched all these shows or read the comics like Spider Man done by the Ramones! Hell the first TV show that I watched in Kindergarten when I got home for my nap during lunchtime-my mom planted me in front of the Underdog and Bullwinkle cartoons until I was ready for my nap. Sure enough one of my favorites Butthole Surfers cover that song! Remember I had also posted Scatman Crothers (voice of Hong Kong Fui) and the Murmurs "You Suck" EP I loved at that time and they do the killer H.R. Pufnstuf. And WoW a band from my MN scene Tripping Daisy do the coolest feel-good song of the summer with 'Friends" from Sigmund and the Seamonsters YAY! It took a youtube reel about band trivia to remind me to get this darn album finally after years! My friend Nathan just posted the related Schoolhouse Rock here: https://nathannothinsez.blogspot.com/2025/06/va-pt-4-schoolhouse-rock-rocks.html?m=1

I've owned the SMC CD since it came out ... oh geeze ... 30 years ago.
I had not heard the School House Rock ... I'm going to play it and wait for my wife to run downstairs and say "WHAT IS THIS?"
