Welcome to the 'show' this week as I gloat over my new PC setup finally (from last week I am redoing the 6 new ripped posts that were at wrong settings--Elliot Lurie and Screamin' Sirens are redone with 4 more to get as I will redo 2 per week for next two weeks). Finally got all known to me of this NYC fan music zine with interviews and live song as well as record reviews with some clips of the new stuff. Was absolutely stapled to my PC listening to Joey Ramone talking in the early days totally agreeing with every word he said about the AOR rock pile of generic sounds that got me to leave rock radio. Some real gems within these here tapes like my first one #2 with best ever version of "Season of the Witch" by Dream Syndicate. Great, great interviews with Husker Du and Dickies among others.

This so friggin' cool. Does anybody out there have number 1. All I know and remember is that I believe it had a cool interview of the Big Boys on it!

FUNKMYROCK, why yes I have all three (you must have requested them before the PC crash in Feb.) Now that I have method down with new gear, I can bump them up for next week. Cheers to You!
A very rare product and almost exclusively featuring very good bands. I can't listen to it or download, but thanks anyway.
I feel so sorry for you but I don't know why. Keep to your scruples I guess.
Yes, Jonder you remember well the decade I had in the Wanted list the No. 1 cassette and I mentioned the Big Boys....I also saw someone mention they remembered this interview but alas it was only a record review and they used the name to attract I'm sure. Thanks for the comment.
No, it has nothing to do with scrupel.
I prefer the original product whenever possible. If i have a download only as a Flac. Or friends also have the original cd so i can copy it with the cover. I think i have almost all of the bands listed here on cd/lp, so ecerything's fine.
Josef, here is definition: scruples
hesitate or be reluctant to do something that one thinks may be wrong. I was not aware these special interviews and song versions were on FLAC CD already??? Very strange to me. None of these songs are available ANYWHERE ELSE and I kind of wanted you to hear the Dream Syndicate version of 'Season of Witch" perhaps it is the season already with this voodoo magic it has brought to us??
That's what i meant. I thought you meant by the word "scrupel" that i would have ( moral) reservation about downloading. I don't have those.
Well, i haven't checked and i can't whether the banda play different versions than the ones i have. I just wanted to point out that i have many cds/lps by almost every one of those bands.
I thought that Bestfiles since out of Germany and our German friend rocking dog at his blog has been posting in MEGA lately that Europeans perhaps could no longer download using Bestfiles. I thought it was a technical issue where you couldn't download. I will be waiting for you feedback on the Dream Syndicate song--I guarantee your tender FLAC ears won't be offended. I guarantee it. And you will not hear the version anywhere else on the web.
Highly recommendation:
