VA - VIACOMCMD Grokster File Sharing Days Mix CD

 Well I kind of get excited now when I find an old cassette compilation I made or like this a CD that needed rescue from disc rot hell!  Back in the early file sharing days when places like napster and grokster (the one I used) existed, lots and lots of hard to get music was commonplace as it should be.  I had made this for a friend I met at a cool city park nestled in the banks of the Mississippi right in downtown St. Paul a place I was biking to and getting to know after early exposure with my dad working at American Hoist & Derrick in the same area as well as the occasional St. Paul Saints minor league hockey games he would try to bring us to like on free raincoat day!  Yay!!  Anyways his name was Kurt and when I met him in the park he let me go inside his street level apartment to see walls full of pictures of him with country music famous bands and AWA and WWF Wrestling stars with him in framed photos and he even had an official wrestling belt to hoist up in the air.  A funny special needs kind of guy who I would stop by and see.  This compilation features:  Blur, America, Radiohead, The Smiths, John Lee Hooker, Ted Nugent, Soul Asylum, Zero Seven, Beatles, Del Shannon, Circle Jerks, Eminem, Crazytown, J. Mascis, Cibo Matto, Primus, Velvet Underground and Cher.  Enjoy!
