REPOST: For David Thomas [R.I.P.] recent departure as tribute for this great Cleveland band albeit lacking later core stuff or side projects but here is my brother in blogging Nathan Nothin's post of a later solo project from David [https://nathannothinsez.blogspot.com/2025/04/what-happened-to-me-david-thomas-rip.html] and here is the discogs details [https://www.discogs.com/artist/83071-Pere-Ubu
Also, Kostas, our friend in Greece just posted this Pere Ubu post: [https://urbanaspirines.blogspot.com/2025/04/pere-ubu-datapanik-in-year-zero-1996.html#comment-form]

Thanks
The Agora release appears to contain Rocket From The Tombs which was the band that evolved into Pere Ubu about 6months later. The same tracks are on the bootleg "Ubu Unchained".
The release of "390° Of Simulated Stereo, Ubu Live Volume One" was originally 1981 (Rough Trade LP (and the CD followed in 1989). However the tracks were recorded over the period 1975-79.
Much of the rest of the live material is unknown to me so a special thanks.

Update. The one marked WHK Auditorium, Cleveland has tracks marked "title unknown". I've got most of these:
1. Real World
2. May Dark Ages
3. Sentimental Journey (pt1)
4. Sentimental Journey (pt2)
5. Life Stinks
6. Small Was Fast
7. Birdies <-- not 100% sure
8. Navvy
9. On The Surface
10. unknown <-- can't get this
I would judge this to be from early 1979 based on the track list which includes New Picnic Time tracks.
If someone is reading this and can confirm T7 or identify T10, please comment.
Thanks
