REPOST Request: They should be considered among the tops in the "Philly Soul" sound with Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes, The O'Jay's and MFSB (their back-up band). After all they penned the classic tune that I have posted, 'I'll Always Love My Mama' which I played on my phone from youtube to my actual mother two weeks ago when I was back for my father's funeral and from the regular playlist of 'Back In The Days Of Soul" Sunday night radio show in the early 90's. It had just been on the radio and I was tickled to have heard it so I played it to her at our outdoor picnic at a city lake with lot's O' family in town and all around.
