COLLECTOR'S CHOICE: Posting a couple suggested by Josef from Austria. This first one he mentioned had a few songs extra added on a later CD issue so will have to revisit this post to update it. Per Discogs: American psychedelic/acid rock band, probably from Los Angeles, CA. The band recorded a single-sided acetate demo circa 1970, of which there is only one known surviving copy. The material from that acetate has been reissued several times as Lyd - The Lyd.
he band members' true identities are still unknown. A list of (fabricated) musicians' names & instrumental credits appeared on the Akarma label reissue in 2000:
- Jack Linerly: guitar, vocals
- Frank Tag: guitar, piano, vocals
- Rob Weisenberg: bass, vocals
- Chet Desmark: drums

And a special recommendation for you. I hope you don't know them yet ? HOT KNIVES from S. F. The band was founded in 1972. But i don't know when the rec. were made.
Probably in the first half of the 70s.

Josef, YES LYD is phenomenal and I didn't even have to think it over twice (love that song!) I've heard of Hot Knives also but will have to check my external hard drive at home from other blogs going back to when I started blogging back in 2006 or so. Listened to Baumstam while riding my bicycle into work this morning and also very great 70's hard rock fuzzer!!
Also the opener Stay HIGH really spoke to me directly and took the advice to heart with healthy hemp, Cheers!
