Thank you for this. I can inform you that in the 1950s and 1960s Jim Ed Brown was a member of the brother/sisters trio The Browns. Here is their Complete Hits CD. Perhaps ClassicMusic20 can enlighten us further...

Jim Ed (Brown) & Helen (Cornelius) were two Country artists that sang and toured together from 1976--1981. That was the Disco era, but Country was still a strong alternative. Jim Ed Brown was inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame in 2015 along with The Browns. Helen parted the duo in 1981 for a solo career and to tour with The Statler Brothers. You will find them separately listed in Wikipedia and many performances together on YouTube.
