COLLECTOR'S CHOICE: Going to lump in my past rips of Lucifer's Friend which per the comment includes: "the original vinyl on Billingsgate/Passport (all other versions - and I mean every single reissue for the past 40+ years - is an edited copy). The only bonafide version is the old vinyl!". Per Discogs: Rock group based in Germany. Asterix's first lead singer was George Mavros, who would be replaced by John Lawton and Toni Cavanaugh for the album recordings. That line-up, without Cavanaugh, started Lucifer's Friend, who were a ProgRock band, formed 1970 in Hamburg, Germany, fronted by British vocalist John Lawton (of Uriah Heep).
Evolved from Asterix and comprised of 3/4 of The German Bonds, the group officially disbanded in 1982. They briefly reunited (1993-1997) as Lucifer's Friend II, releasing one album before disbanding once again. In 2015 they have reformed again.

Any chance of re-listing this?
I ask because it appears to be a rip of the original vinyl on Billingsgate/Passport (all other versions - and I mean every single reissue for the past 40+ years - is an edited copy). The only bonafide version is the old vinyl!
Hey, I'm as tired of saying it as you are of hearing it, but: Help us Obi-wan....you're our only hope!

Whoa! Stop the presses! Was completely unaware that I was listening to an edited version on my CD. So, thanks so much for these vinyl rips.
Between 1965 and 1969 Dieter Horns, Peter Hecht and Peter Hesslein were in a band called the German Bonds who released three singles. In 1969 Peter Hecht, Peter Hesslein and Joachim Rietenbach were in Hell Preachers Incorporated (though this info wasn't known for years) which released one psychedelic album. For those interested in the roots of Asterix/Lucifer I am sending those files along.

Here's 4 bonus tracks from my CD, numbered to be appended to the end of the first album. You get the B side of Ride the Sky single, Our World is a Rock and Roll Band/Alpenrosen single and the B side for Rock 'N' Roll singer.

Jon! Thanks a million man. I think we got this artist group nailed! Those bonus tracks are kicking my head-phoned ass at work right now! Had a little issue with roots download with google chrome not letting me download due to suspect issues (used to give me an override option but first time no option to get it) so I used my MS Edge browser and got it for later listening as I wisk off for my after lunch shirtless sun walk around the warehouse parking lot as the grass lake has too much pesticide from the lawn service that gives me sore legs--not even picking the annual blackberries around the lake anymore. Cheers!
My final submission for Beelzebub's Buddy. Banquet from 1974. This one ventures more into the jazz/prog movement. My second favorite Luci album behind their first. Wasn't much impressed with further albums by reformations of the band.
