TOTO ET TOTOUNE - LE 'CLAP CLAP' DE TET LP 86

This one is kind of a pre-tele tubbies sound by the Montreal band singing in French.  I haven't done the google translate on the song titles yet but I could here:  Bad Manners - Lollipop, Iggy Pop - Passenger (not sure about this one) but definitely Cyndy Lauper's Girls Just Want To Have Fun.  It's a mad freak show but just our type here at DU blog and you won't get "The Clap" from it or even try to feign the gesture.

Here is the Discogs write up on the guy in the band:  Joël Denis, Real Name:  Denis Laplante

Born in Montreal in 1936. Co-hosted "Jeunesse D'Aujourd'hui", a popular TV show on CFTM-10 with Pierre Lalonde, from 1962 to 1965. Also a singer, he had a few top hits with "Le Ya Ya", "Hey Hey Lolita" and "C'ta Pas Encore Fait".

He had the privilege to meet John Lennon and Yoko Ono when they held their famous 'bed in' in Montreal. He was part of the crowd that sang with them on the song 'Give Peace A Chance'.
