A real gem for the weekly tropical music now morphed into Hawaiian music.  Quite a story for Webley from Discogs:  Real Name: Webley Elgin Edwards

Profile: American radio show host influential in popularity of Hawaiian music.

Born in Corvallis, Oregon on November 11, 1902. Died in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 5, 1977.

Edwards relocated to Honolulu, Hawaii in 1928. He developed a keen interest in Native Hawaiian musical traditions and in 1935 became the producer of the show Hawaii Calls.
