STARFIGHTERS - st 81 LP w In-Flight Movie LP 83

REPOST Request:  Some classic NWOBHM metal with reaffirmingly positive lyrics and a Molly Hatchett tinged vocal head mover side to side with exclamation that gets ya goin'!! (Hey remember after Meat Puppets Up on the Sun on Out my Way when they brought on that Molly Hatchett style vocals I kinda forced myself to like it)..

One of my favorite LPs of the 80s, I wore a copy out in a year's time. Thank you for a digital copy, much appreciated.
Now, if someone has a copy of another great favorite, the self-titled "Riggs" with Radar Rider and Ready Or Not on it, I would be forever grateful.

Should've known you'd be pulling this rabbit out of your (seemingly bottomless) hat.

First STARFIGHTERS was basic, rough'n'ready rock in the AC/DC tradition (no surprise as Stevie Young is in the band); but the followup is where the gold truly resides: Gallows Dancer, Running for the Gun, I'm Your Nightmare and especially Out on the Street are all minor masterpieces that get into your head and stay there.

Unfortunately - and this happened all too often in the 80s - the first lp is where all the promotional push went, and when it failed to light up the charts, the second (superior, and superb) album got shoved into a far corner with a long and very disinterested stick by Arista. It seems crazy now, but in those days record companies threw perfectly-good albums onto shelves to basically die a quiet death and provide the fatcats with a tax writeoff. A damn shame, in Starfighters' case.
