REPOST Request: Well they started out as a Dixieland jazz group from Greenwich Village, NYC during the 1950s and '60s then morphed into a "neo-beatnik folk revival music group" modeled after early 1960s ensembles like the Kingston Trio and Peter, Paul and Mary. I am reminded that when I found the 7 inch at Goodwill, there were over 10 copies I grabbed at the same time in case anyone needs one of those. Last post our in-store record store clerk from NE USA informed me that bassist Lauren Agnelli was also in the new wave band Nervous Rex and that she also plays with Canadian legend and Teenage Head singer Dave Rave!!!

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I've been looking for a copy of "Fair and Square" for ever. I bought both albums back in 1989 after seeing the Washington Squares live at Bumbershoot and the Central Tavern in Seattle. They were fantastic and the albums capture their enthusiasm. Folk Rock Rules!

Sincere apologies if I offended you. I meant no disrespect. I dl it 3 times before commenting. I tried again and this time i added .rar to the end of the file name and it unzipped fine. I will try to remember to do so on others if they dl as an rtf file in the future. None of the other files I have dl'd over the years had this problem.
Again I am sorry if you felt I was playing games or bothering you. I only wanted to listen. You do such a great job. I appreciate all your shares. Have a great day.
