 REPOST Request:  My sister born in 1966 (my birth year 1968) is the hugest Janis Joplin fan I know.  Cool that she spent time with Roky Erickson and the 13th Floor Elevators in Austin, TX before moving to CA.  Somewhere in there she spent half a year in Uptown Minneapolis as I have partied with folks there who told me so.  See her early band with Big Bro above.
