REPOST Request: For our Australian friend this week Rixboy, I've filled in the gaps with 320 mp3 from youtube and WoW the Black Swan had almost 40 songs!!! Here's what I had wrote before: This West Perth, Australia band use the old definition of Calenture as a tropical fever or delirium suffered by sailors after long periods away from land, who imagine the seas to be green fields and desire to leap into them. Can't find that definition anywhere when I do a google search so I thought I would state it here. Their home base it claims is also second most remote place behind some city in Siberia...also the home to my great grandfather--an English RAF doctor who got adopted there by the locals when he was helping on a short term assignment.
As bonus here is a short blurb from a book my dad wrote before he died about our family history: After serving his British army commission, Dr. Henry and his wife Agnes and children stayed in Australia near Sydney, New South Wales, where Dr. Henry rendered medical and surgical assistance to his fellow Australians. Dr. Henry and Agnes had eight boys all of whom died at birth. However, they had four other children: William, James, Francis and Elizabeth, who survived to adulthood and had children of their own. Dr. Henry and Agnes lived 15 years in Victoria and over 30 years in New South Wales.
