REPOST and ADD ON: I am the one who wanted to hear their song 'Put A Lid On It' after these past two weeks of 20's style music putting that song on rotation in my head...such a classic. Their big live hit for us was 'Hell' and they knew this and would play it as encore. Thanks to the blog who had the singles post as I didn't have the best version of "Put A Lid On It" but now do!! Other CD's from shows I went to.

Fulltext, I am gradually switchimg them over to mediafire from rapidshare except the truly > 200mb files and now the Squirrel Nut Zippers (a local carmel processed candy with tons O' peanuts in it!) a local midwestern treat izzz-up!

They are from Chapel Hill NC. My mom was friends with Katherine Whalen's parents, which is how I first heard them. She thought I would like the CD she had. I did.

I forgot one thing. My wife's dad's best friend was their touring keyboard player for many years. We had a hysterical lunch with him last time we were in Chapel Hill.
