PEZBAND - st File Under Pop Vocal LP 77 w Laughing In The Dark LP 78 w Too Old Too Soon - Live At Dingwalls EP 78 w Cover To Cover LP 79 w File Under Mimi CD w Thirty Seconds Over Schaumburg Live EP

REPOST for ERIC CARMEN [R.I.P.] INFLUENCES:  Per Discogs:  US American power pop band formed in 1971 in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park, Illinois.  What I had mentioned before:  I like to lump them into the indoor rollerskating rink scene with bands like Off Broadway, The Kind, The Hollywood Stars, Glider and the Hawks who also had a '30 Seconds Over' record title in the Midwest scene.  Only person I knew who knew of them was a friend of mine in 4th grade so I'm sure they also made the rounds in the teen magazines of the time like 'Dynamite' around that time which our whole class got a promo issue for free with Farrah Fawcett on the cover.

none of these guys are from Raspberries, who were from Cleveland, Pezband was from Chicago, but the singer sorta sounds like Eric Carmen sometimes...still, an INCREDIBLE medley version of the Yardbirds' "Train Kept A Rollin" and Jeff Becks' "Blue Wind", the BEST that you'll ever hear! thanks much!!!!
