This is the band I was telling Jonder about on his 'Blue Note' compilation post late last year from that experimental period for the label, where they have flowing water sounds in between the funkiness. You can find out about all the extensive connections that band had. I've since added additional releases sent in from ClassicMusic20 who clued me originally to the band so a big THANK YOU!

By the way, They are the most used background singers in so many songs and worked with many artists of different genres of music (Like Lionel Richie, Michael Jackson, Guns N' Roses, REO Speedwagon, Gino Vannelli, Neil Diamond, David Cassidy, It goes on!) But Oren Waters (in all interviews) seems to exaggerate about themselves (saying things like "We've sang on "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" the most played song in the history of radio (It was until it was surpassed by the Police's "Every Breath You Take") we've sang the backgrounds on the Jeffersons theme, the longest running show in the history of Television (it didn't ran that long, it only ran 11 seasons, Ozzie & Harriet ran more and Gunsmoke ran for 20 seasons for 20 years!) "We've sang on Thriller, the biggest selling album in the history of music and we've sang on Avatar, the highest grossing movie in the history of box offices")
Thank YOU Classic!
