Found their later CD and just in time to bookend this final blog Hip Hop set of posts for the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop Music Celebration that has been going on this whole year in case you hadn't noticed the blanket meta reels showing up on feeds. Appropriate as they were early founders of our scene as I mentioned last week. What I wrote on first post:
These guys were friends I met on what became our local city bicycle rallies/tours on St. Patrick's Day and Halloween. The route changed each time back then as the greenway city bike trail was built...we had a hobo village in the Bryn Mayr woods, kegs pulled on bikes, makeshift DJ's only needing a plug inside a building on the bike path that was the Green Institute or some bull name like that. We would get lots of locals that got together and shuttdown traffic due to our numbers then would party over camp fires deep into the night at Minnehaha Falls as all the rides were along the Mississippi river. my first post comments: Got a local's set of four CD's here and below from my old MN scene. I have a set of MN hip hop I will do also. First song is a classic called "Pea King' featuring an early SLUG rap appearance aside from his to become huge Atmosphere that I will feature later. "At the end of my rope again (2X) looking for patterns in the fray hoping when my stay reaches the finish diminish is semi dramatic anticipation is massive when can I have it all, the senses are alert I flame torch my fear for main course save the tenseness for dessert.
