A big thanks to new requestor Jon H. for suggesting this band and for ClassicMusic20 for helping out with a 320 for the second album (I only ripped the first album). Have also done a first post here of supporting bands while refreshing posts I had done that are also related.

Jon H's comment to add to ClassicMusic20's info in comments: Members of Wha-Koo. Andy Silvester, bass, can be heard on this Chicken Shack album. Nick Van Maarth came from Raik's Progress. Don Francisco, drums, came from Crowfoot. Drummer Claude Pepper changed his name to Jack Mack and formed the Heart Attack. Ron Fransen, keys, can be found on these three albums from Dirk Hamilton (the Crux album is a lost masterpiece IMHO). Peter Freiberger, bass, can be found on Tonio K's Life in the Foodchain, Danny Douma's lone solo effort. And, of course, David Palmer sang on a couple of the early albums from Steely Dan.

Wha-Hoo! Wha-Koo! Thank you!
Interesting You've Got Wha-Koo, Sometime in the Future, I Was planning on requesting all three of their albums as I wasn't satisfied with the versions I had for quite some time. I discovered those guys while watching the TV Show James at 15 a few years ago when I was sick and in one episode, and they were playing "Berkshire" in the background and I was like "Who's This Group?" And that's what led me to them. David Palmer, the one who sang lead on Steely Dan's song "Dirty Work" was part of Wha-Koo and he also co-wrote Carole King's hit "Jazzman" and Laura Branigan's hit "The Lucky One" Nowadays, he's a photographer. Danny Douma's solo record features a load full of talented people such as Mick Fleetwood, Lindsey Buckingham, The Late Great Christine McVie and Eric Clapton. Jack Mack and the Heart Attack appeared on an episode of Laverne & Shirley and their album was produced by Glenn Frey (the sax player from their band Bill Bergman provided the memorable sax solo on Glenn Frey's hit "You Belong to the City" But in the Music Video, Some Guy Is Faking It) Max Carl, their lead singer, Has 3 great solo albums that I'll send later in the day, and also, he was the second lead singer in .38 Special after Don Barnes left and he co-wrote and sang lead on their hit "Second Chance" then afterwards, Don Barnes returns and Max Carl goes to do other things and Since 2001, Max has been the current lead singer of Grand Funk Railroad and he sings "Second Chance" with them (Don't think that's a good idea cause its not their song)
Steve Krikorian was a member of Raik's Progress. He was later known as Tonio K.
Okay, Here's All Three of the Max Gronenthal a.k.a. Max Carl albums! (Max Groennthal Is his birth name, then he switched it to his middle name Max Carl because Gronenthal is an unusual name and nobody uses it) Enjoy!! By the way, His debut album from '79 features Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, Patrick Simmons doing the background vocals (And McDonald co-wrote one of the tracks "You") Tommy Bolin posthumously wrote the last track from that record "Faded Satin Lady"

@ClassicMusic20 - Thank you for the Big upgrade and the Max Carl's.
Here's Patrick Simmons 2 Albums and additionally, an artist by the name of Tim Goodman (decided to send you that because there's some Doobie Connections) and By the way, Patrick's First Album features tons of talented people including his fellow Doobies bandmates Michael McDonald and his wife Amy Holland (And His Sister Maureen McDonald is also on here) Tom Johnston, Cornelius Bumpus, Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, John McFee and Bobby LaKind and other musicians includes Huey Lewis and the News, Nicky Hopkins (The Rolling Stones) David Pack (The Original Lead Singer and Voice of Ambrosia!) Jude Cole, Patrick Henderson (Gospel Singer and Co-Writer of the Doobies Hit "Real Love") John Elefante from Kansas! Tower of Power, Chris Thompson (formerly of Manfred Mann's Earth Band & Night and co-writer of the John Farnham hit "You're the Voice") Leland Sklar, Mike "Pooh" Baird, Victor Feldman (Steely Dan) Bill Payne, Wow! A Lot of talented people! and now let's get to Tim Goodman, prior to his album, was a studio musician that played on a few records (one of them was Max Carl's album Whistling in the Dark) and then he released the album Footsteps and just like Patrick's album, also features some of that same line-up, Michael McDonald (Co-wrote the first track "Fara") John McFee, Patrick Simmons, Cornelius Bumpus, Max Carl, Chris Thompson and Mark Andes (Spirit, Jo Jo Gunne, Firefall and Heart and his dad Keith Andes, was a character actor and was the voice of Birdman in the Hanna Barbara Cartoon of the Same Name, Cool!) Bruce Springsteen wrote one of the tracks on here and also Alex Call co-wrote a few of the songs on here (He was the lead singer in Huey Lewis’s first band Clover and went on to co-write the Tommy Tutone hit “8675-309 (Jenny”) Tim Goodman went on to cut his long hair and become the lead singer of Country Band called Southern Pacific, If you like Early Eagles (When they Were a Country Rock Band) Poco? I think you'll dig his band. Anyways, Enjoy and God Bless (The only thing missing in the Tim Goodman Collection Is this single, I'll link you up with it on discogs if you want to get it? it's so hard to get and By the Way, I Was the Anonymous that sent you that Wha-Koo Link)

Geils Band Singer, some producer with the same name, I Remember you've made that mistake with Gary O') John Pierce (Pablo Cruise, Huey Lewis and the News and Toto) Jim Keller from Tommy Tutone (co-wrote one of the tracks "There Goes Another Fool In Love") Kevin Wells (the co-writer of Huey's forgotten hit "Walking on a Thin Line) Co-Wrote the track "Love Dogs" Enjoy!!

@ClassicMusic20 - Thank you so much for the Alex Call. You've provided a gold mine this week. Much appreciated.
Okay, let me try this artist. Might you have anything by the country Alex Harvey?

Jon check E.W.’s blog Mondo Exploito on lower right sidebar links as he said he has lots of it. I have posted his 1971 and 1977 albums in error mixing him up for the more Sensational legend. Thanks to you both on your help with all this and Classic I have both Gary O’s posted before not sure how I could mixed up such a unique name as that but I know you are sensitive for your fellow Canadian artists. My Gary infatuation is Gary Wilson and the Blind Dates who all autographed my CDs and he started as experimental bed room music then on to to funny girl crushes/fetish about making out. Also Gary Louris from the Jayhawks used to bump into him all the time at First Ave club and filmed Golden smog which was a big hit on my old YouTube channel.
I did mix up Peter Wolf though for the longest damn time… that must be what you 😠meant
Thank you for Mondo Exploito suggestion. Unfortunately all the links were expired. I am completely unfamiliar with his recordings and am interested in hearing him after noticing his name on numerous songwriting credits. Curiosity more than anything else. I missed the one posting here. If you get a chance to repost what you have I'd be grateful. No rush.
Jon, E.W. showed me once how a lot of his posts had been moved by someone to Archive.org so you might try there as well. We’ll see what ClassicMusic20 has to add and I can do a repost with the most. As you probably already know you can do a google search of each futile he did with a dash and space on each side from artist to title then space and add the word blogspot at the end for any release and score up any posts on the blogosphere that way.
Jon, I’ve Searched and Found the Alex Harvey Records and Set Them All Up for You. I had no idea he co-wrote "Rings" (First Recorded by Cymarron and later covered by Lobo and Alex Also Has His Own Version of It on his Souvenirs Record) On that Souvenirs record, I See Aynsley Dunbar on the drums, interesting? He's from Journey, Jefferson Starship (The Mickey Thomas era from 1979-1982) Journey (1973-78) Whitesnake (1985-86 when they made it big with "Here I Go Again) And I also see another Jefferson Starship member Pete Sears on that record, too. On Alex's third album, True Love, I see it was Produced by Mike Stewart of We Five fame and also produced the song that made Billy Joel a Star "Piano Man" (and he's also the brother of John Stewart of the Kingston Trio and "Gold" fame and the writer of the Monkees smash "Daydream Believer) and I see some cool talented guys on that one, Michael Omartian arranging the tracks (Christopher Cross's producer and the man of Stormie Omartian) Emory Gordy Jr. (legendary bass player) on bass, Jim Horn, Ron Tutt, Glen D. Hardin, King Errison and Larry Carlton (Steely Dan and he also provided that Acoustic Guitar intro on "My Maria" by B.W. Stevenson) Anyways, here he is, enjoy!!!

ClassicMusic20 - Thanks so much. You've gone above and beyond. I look forward to checking these out. It's amazing how interconnected all these musicians wind up being. I start researching one and before I know it I'm looking for nine more albums. Found two more bands that Don Francisco was a part of recently. No idea what they sound like but had to locate rips. Somebody posted Twiggy albums at Twilight Zone recently and being a fan of what I term 'celebrity' recordings I had to download them only to find that (get ready for this...) Alex Call on acoustic guitar, John McFee on guitar and Huey Louis on harmonica on the Please Get My Name Right album. Looks like Clover helped make that album also.
Jon thanks I got your upgraded files to 320. I love that Don Francisco double live album but the only one I have. If you wanted to send sometime and the Twiggy I am interested but so overloaded this week will be some time before I upgrade any posts. Looking at a Members request--such a great Oi! band from 79-82 is what I had posted but adding CD stuff I didn't have and one song had a CD/vuUSB transfer glitch than another was missing a track from that CD but had 2-3 copies I could piece it all together just now and going to post for tomorrow as it seemed to fit into a big old Thanksgiving for you MEMBERS of the blog. Get ready for 9 BENJI movies and two kids albums too. Just starting to dabble in the big load of kids records I have and they are far far end of quality spectrum whereas a good condition vinyl rip is at the other end ahead of CD IMO. Main post will be some Thanksgiving (B) SIDES (dishes) 2 comp. repost and ADD ON with MAdonna B-side so I'll leave you guys guessing along with New Colony 6...GET IT?
Okay. I prefer not to step on anyone else postings so I'm going to copy and paste the message from TZ and hope the original poster does not mind me doing so. If you would prefer not to repost from another blog then use the link for your personal benefit.

Re Twiggy

Twiggy - Please Get My Name Right (UK 1977)
Twiggy, the model was hugely popular in the UK during the "Swinging 60's." She released a couple of light-weight Country-Pop albums in the mid 1970s that I bought on vinyl and cassette, and still enjoy listening to now and then. My original source was a rip from my vinyl, but I believe these were ripped by somebody else that I didn't note. I wish that I could post a photo of her!
Thanks to the original source, and enjoy.

Thanks Mike!
And...for another bit of serendipity that goes along with this thread. The lead off track on Please... is Alex Harvey's Rings.
Here's Don Francisco in the bands Atlee (1970) and Highway Robbery (1972):
https://gofile.io/d/kiain1
And...wouldn't you know it, just like Peter Wolf (who until this week I had no idea was two different people, the singer and the producer) the Don Francisco of Don Francisco Live Album is a different Don Francisco than the Wha-Koo Don Francisco. Am I about the begin a decent into another rabbit hole?
WoW thanks Jon, Ha ha I think I was told that before about Don Francisco but use it or lose when it comes to info for me sometimes. Wanted to let you know at Discogs when you go to the artist page, then click a release below the artist description, I have to go systematically time to time down the lists to get the best resolution or covers without promo like I added to the Dante's Inferno post. I found a nice full size poste of Twiggy for a cassette version and another with that adds the 'Here I Go Again' below her name in font like the other one.
Cheers!
I Made That Mistake Too With Peter Wolf, I Remember When I First Discovered Peter Wolf (The Producer) While Listening to Starship's Greatest Hits (As He and His Wife wrote "Sara") I Was Like "Peter Wolf from the J. Geils Band?" And I Looked Him Up the Next Day and it wasn't, this girl on Youtube Did a Video of the making of Red Rider's "Lunatic Fringe" and she makes a mistake saying "Peter Wolf from the J. Geils Band Did That Spooky Intro That You Hear at the Beginning of the Song" When it's not, I remember when Professor of Rock had Wang Chung on talking about "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" they poked fun at their producer and the J. Geils guy having the same name. I use to think Downtown Julie Brown and Comedian Julie Brown where the same people (when they're not, they look different from each other, ha ha) And Brian Russell (Never heard of him? Part of Brian & Brenda Russell and husband of Charlie's Angels star Cheryl Ladd) some of his credits on discogs with Brenda Russell is listed on a different Brian Russell page (who is A Canadian Guitar Player) and they're not the same people, I'm surprise they're not correcting that.
Hello!
The link for Chicken Shack, Alias, Danny Douma, Dirk Hamilton, Raik's Progress and Jack Mack & The Heart Attack has gone.
Can you fix it, please?
Thank you very much
Stathis
Hi Stathis nice to see you again, Link is restored and new Don Francisco link is separate.
