A big thanks to ClassicMusic20 for suggesting this artist to cover here at the DU blog. Such a great songwriter of the Friend's Theme song and Earth, Wind and Fire's 'September' (which I didn't have) plus a load of others you can listen to and read about in my researched text files included. R.I.P.

Allee Willis also co-wrote Boogie Wonderland, with John Lind.
I was in a band called Xanadu, back in the seventies, and we recorded that song before Earth, Wind & Fire... our version was never released as EWF's version had been released first and had gone straight to number one!

Wow very cool curious about hearing your band now. I included two versions of the song with the Emotions from a 12 EP I had posted w EW&F. Viacom
That's Interesting! I'd Love to Hear That Original

By the Way Viacom, You Forgot to Put Up the Other Picture of the lyrics and writing credits on Songwriter LP (Which is the side where "I Need Someone to Touch Me" pops on) I was looking for the writing credits and I didn't see the rest of the B-Side sheets, Just making you aware.
ClassicMusic20,
I listened to that song twice not hearing any pops but did hear a few treble fuzzies that I didn't like. With a new stylus tip like I used last week, I usually run a generic record all night on the continuous groove closest to center to wear it in...last week I only ran a short while. Perhaps that is it but usually this type of cheaper record like many greatest hits records are lower quality or worn in with that groove wear/gap or maybe needs better cleaning such that repeated play after alcohol cleaner dries it can crack that off. I didn't like the 196/196 kHz studio 1 setting I had switched to last week and have already switched back to 96/96 that I have used since Glenn Miller AHO last year after very careful comparisons. If I have time tonight, I might try a new rip with the old worn in stylus tip but check first on that song to see if it helps. Maybe you meant too big of a physical cut I did of a pop loosing too much information/--my eyes ain't what they used to be. I've even tried the highest setting studio 2 before, but quickly changed back as I think too many frequencies seem to 'crowd' together and diminish the sound but also takes up way too much HD space. I suppose wearing in a new stylus tip provides more clearance to the grooves preventing rubbing static against the walls of the groove or something like that.
I wasn't talking about records pops, Ha ha. I Was talking about the album cover photos you took, you're missing one photo of the rest of the tracks on the B-Side, ha ha.
Letting you guys know in the comments I redid several posts this week using me last stylus tip and 96/96 for much better lo-tech sound! You will enjoy. I let the new tip run all night on a test record to wear it in as I should have done last weekend. Going to redo Lesley Jayne and Dante's Inferno tonight with new tip @ 96/96.
