MOTHER EARTH - Living With The Animals CD 68 04 w Make A Joyful Noise CD 69 04 w Satisfied CD 70 05 w Bring Me Home LP 71 w TRACY NELSON - st LP 74 w Sweet Soul Music LP 75

I first heard of this band when my MN Music History meta group posted a bunch of old flyers from the Labor Temple venue at my University of MN college location along the Mississippi river West Bank area.  It is where the real touring circuits began with Savoy Brown, Grateful Dead, Velvet Underground and many legendary bands.  It was even where punk rock started more or less with the D.O.A. show then moved ro Southwest Minneapolis church locations such as the old 7 Seconds show.  But anyways their first two albums are considered classics of the genre while the later two albums focused more on Tracy Nelson's singing, launching her solo career and these albums are much cherished by those who have heard this buried gold.  I got the first three ME CD's from blog rips out there and had to buy the last three shown which is O.K. because Tracy is really good and from Wisconsin I might add.

Cool! Thanks Classic, I was hoping I might rustle some feathers from you with this week's posts! Get ready for some Tina Marie next week. Going to have many female artists covered in time.
