VA - K-TEL DANCER-The Danceable Side of Today's Rock LP 81

 First song had a skip and groove damage and couldn't believe I didn't have 'Celebration' with past posts!  I guess it would be one of those songs they kept selling to this day per the documentary of the interesting history I grew up with on TV.  Main issue in decline was hiring family members who had no business being in those positions with the corporation which rings close to home.  At any rate this is one of those top comp.'s for them and here is the documentary:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDvUeQEKwNQ

Bands featured:  Kool & The Gang, Whispers, Sister Sledge, Gap Band, Con Funk Shun, Brothers Johnson, Diana Ross, Lipps, Inc., Yarbrough & Peoples, Quincy Jones, Frankie Smith, Lakeside (I think they just reworked the Rimshots 'Groove Bus'--kinid of cut-throat stuff they did to keep going!), The S.O.S. Band and Pointer Sisters.
